Ingredients
  • K&N’s Kofta - 10-12
  • Pasta - 1 cup
  • Mozzarella cheese - 2 cup; grated
  • Pasta sauce - 1½ cup
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  •  

    For Italian Seasoning:

  • Oregano - 3 tbsp; dried  
  • Basil - 3 tbsp; dried
  • Thyme - 2 tbsp; dried
  • Rosemary - 2 tbsp; dried
  • Garlic powder - 2 tsp
  • Onion powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  •  

    For Pasta Sauce:

  • Tomatoes - 1 kg
  • Onion large - 1; chopped
  • Garlic cloves - 3; mined
  • Olive oil - 2 tbsp
  • Italian seasoning - 3 tbsp
  • Basil leaves - 2 tbsp; chopped
  • Salt - to taste
Method

In a pan, boil water with salt and oil. Add pasta and cook until tender. When done, rinse under cold water and set aside.

Prepare K&N’s Kofta as per instructions on pack.

In a bowl, add pasta sauce, stir in the cooked pasta and K&N’s Kofta. Stir gently to coat everything well in sauce.

Spread half of the pasta and K&N’s Kofta into a baking dish. Top with half of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers.

Sprinkle some Italian seasoning on top.

Bake at 180C for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve hot.

 

For Italian Seasoning

In a bowl, mix all the herbs together until combined and store in a sealed container.

 

For Pasta Sauce

Peel, deseed and chop the tomatoes and set aside.

In a pan, heat olive oil, add onion, garlic and sauté for 3 minutes.

Add tomatoes, basil leaves, Italian seasoning and salt and let it simmer on low flame for one hour until thick and dark.

Note: It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
