Kofta Chickpeas Curry

Ingredients

  • K&N's Kofta - 400g
  • Cooking Oil – 4 tbsp
  • Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 tbsp
  • Onion – 1 ½ cup; chopped
  • Tomato Puree – ½ cup
  • Salt – To taste
  • Coriander Powder – ½ tsp
  • Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp
  • Cumin Powder – 1 tsp
  • Red Chili Powder – 2 tsp
  • Water – ½ cup
  • Green Chilies – 4; chopped
  • Chickpeas – 1 ½ cup; boiled
  • Hot Water – ½ cup
  • Whole Spice powder – ½ tsp
Method
Thaw K&N's Kofta as per instructions on pack and set aside.

Heat oil in a pan and sauté cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste and onion. Add tomato puree, salt, coriander powder, turmeric, cumin, red chili powder and water.

When gravy simmers, add green chilies, yoghurt, chickpeas and hot water. Cover to cook for 10 minutes.

Add Kofta and let simmer for another 5 minutes.

Garnish with whole spice powder and serve with flatbread or naan.
