Ingredients
  • K&N’s Mortadella Slices - 24-26 slices
  • Sandwich bread slices - 12-15 slices
  • Eggs - 2 (for egg wash)
  • Cheddar cheese slices - 12-15
  • Mustard sauce - ½ cup
  • Cheese sauce - as required
  • Cheddar cheese - ½ cup; shredded
  • Fresh parsley - for garnishing
  •  

    For Egg Mixture:

  • Eggs - 3
  • Milk - ½ cup
  • Black pepper powder - ½ tsp
  • Salt - ½ tsp or to taste
Method

Take sandwich bread slices and remove the edges. Take 4 bread slices and combine them from end to end with egg wash.

Thaw K&N’s Mortadella Slices as per instructions on label.

Take bread slices and add a layer of mustard sauce, cheese slices and Mortadella Slices on it.

Cut bread slices vertically dividing into two vertical strips. Take one strip and roll from one end to the other in a swiss roll shape. Place this roll on the other strip and roll it again.

Make 7-8 more bread strips the same way and roll each strip around the prepared bread roll.

Place the bread roll in a cake pan, and pour egg mixture.

Bake the bread roll in a preheated oven at 356°F for 10 minutes.

Take out prepared bread roll from oven. Top it with prepared cheese sauce and bake again for 5 minutes or until cheese melts.

Remove the French Toast Swirl from the cake pan and cut a slice. Serve and enjoy. Your Mortadella and Cheese bread Swirl is ready.

 

For Egg Mixture:

Add all the ingredients in a bowl, mix well and aside. Your egg mixture is ready.

Ingredients

  • Butter - 3 tbsp
  • All-purpose flour - 3 tbsp
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Salt - ½ tsp
  • Black pepper powder - ½ tsp
Method

In a pan, heat butter, add flour and cook on low flame.

Add milk and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Add salt, black pepper powder and cook until well combined. Set aside.
