Ingredients
  • K&N’s Shami Kabab - 9 kababs
  • K&N’s Bologna Slices - 200g
  • Pizza sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Mozzarella cheese - 1 cup; shredded
  • Black pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Parmesan cheese - 2 tbsp; grated
  • Butter & Cilantro mixture - as required
  •  

    For Dough:

  • All-purpose flour - 4 cups; more for rolling
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • Yeast - 2 tsp
  • Olive oil - 2 tbsp
  • Warm water - as required
  •  

    For Marinara Sauce:

  • Olive oil - 3 tbsp 
  • Garlic - 1 tbsp; minced
  • Onion - 1 cup; finely chopped
  • Tomato puree - 2 cups
  • Salt - to taste
  • Red chili flakes - 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder - 1½ tsp
  • Oregano - ½ tsp; dried
  • Tomato paste - 1 tbsp
  • Carrot - ⅓ cup; shredded
  • Basil leaves - 2 tbsp; chopped
  • Water - as required
Method

Prepare K&N’s Shami Kabab as per instructions on pack.

Prepare K&N’s Bologna Slices as per instructions on pack and preheat your oven.

Roll out dough into a circular shape and spread pizza sauce.

Layer the K&N’s Bologna Slices and sprinkle of mozzarella cheese on top and fold.

Spread K&N’s Shami Kabab on it and sprinkle of mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese on top and fold.

Carefully roll up the long edge of your Stromboli, starting with the one edge to another. Roll it tightly so that it stays together. 

Transfer it to a baking tray, brush butter & cilantro mixture on top and sprinkle parmesan cheese and parsley on it.

Use a knife to make shallow diagonal cuts on top of Stromboli. Bake at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until the top is brown.

Sprinkle with fresh parsley and dip in warm marinara sauce to serve.

 

For Dough:

In a bowl, add flour, sugar and yeast then combine well. 

Add water, 2 tbsp oil and mix properly. Knead until the dough forms into a ball.

Add 2 tsp oil to grease the bowl and dough. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and put it in a warm place to let it double in size for about 1 hour.

Knead dough to make a smooth and firm ball. Divide it into 4 equal pieces.

 

For Marinara Sauce:

In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and onion. Cook until soft for about 5 minutes.

Add tomato puree, salt, red chili flakes, black pepper powder, oregano, tomato paste, carrot, basil leaves and mix well.

Simmer uncovered on low heat for 20 minutes or until sauce reaches desired consistency. Add water if required.
